Here at Ceylon Tea Plantation Exports (CTP), we have always been passionate about what we do, having built up a Tea business from simple beginnings that has been breaking new ground for the better part of the past three decades. We have acquired a certain specialisation for sourcing, packing, and distributing the best of Ceylon Tea under numerous brands, both our own as well as private label. For the past 25 years, we have built up an export footprint that has traversed all five continents.
CTPE is a family owned company with big aspirations and an unconditional love for quality tea. We have our own in-house infrastructure to supply tea packed in bulk and in virtually every ‘value-added’ form – meaning packing into cartons, tea caddies, and almost every type of tea bag. Our bulk packing is fully mechanised with up-to-date cleaning methods, while packing into consumer units is handled by a Sri Lanka Government-approved fully-owned subsidiary, CTP Pre-packed Export (Pte) Ltd.
They say Tea is as good as its presentation, but quality always reigns supreme. We agree that an excellent product needs to deliver on both fronts and that is why we take great care with our ingredients and our processes. To satisfy a wider range of consumer needs we pack not only Pure Ceylon tea, but also herbs, specialised teas of excellence from other origins including organic and decaffeinated teas. Our philosophy has been to provide just about every consumer requirement from a single source.
